Ultimately, it was the feeling of connection we had with the subject of this image that pushed it over the line. You can feel her personality through the smile in her eyes, and you can see it in the the detail of her face. The wind in her hair gives the image a great energy. Top that off with great use of light, and the decision to publish black and white. It’s tough to fault this frame. ”
