Leadership Principles Award

This year the Leadership Principles Awards goes to a group of people from our Sport and Major Events team. They have raised the bar in navigating the challenges faced in running the logistics of Covid pool solutions across the UK and Germany. From the moment that Sport faced challenges with accreditation, access, PPE, Covid testing, and the need to find a stable pool system this team stepped up and led by example. They created solutions that are now used by AP, AFP, DPA, EPA, Getty Images, PA and Reuters, and the feedback has been fantastic.

Collectively they worked together to bring solutions to an industry wide problem in how to work as one across a number of major agencies ensuring that we have a robust and fair system in place, supported by open and transparent communications seven days a week. 

Working as one they have led discussions in every step of the process gaining the respect of key stakeholders in the solutions they created, but also in their kind and courteous communications. There is no doubt that at every hurdle and every conversation this team has put the customer at the heart of everything they do.
